Rocks and Minerals are listed according to species. Click each link on the menu to the left to go to a rock or mineral page and scroll down on each to see listed items.
If you see any rock or mineral in any of our McRocks Field Trip Reports that you might like to own yourself, but don't see one like it listed on the sale pages, there is a pretty good chance that we will be able find one in stock just for you. In this case, shoot us an email message (see email button link at bottom of page) telling us exactly what you want and the field trip report where you found it. If we have a specimen that might suit your needs, we will take pictures, create a sale item description including price and place them on an appropriate sale page for you to consider. You will not be obligated to purchase the item once it is placed on a sale page, but it will be available there on a first-come first-serve basis.
Those of you who are new to McRocks Minerals should take time to breeze through all of our sale pages. If you don't have the time to spend with us now, you should bookmark our site and visit us again. McRocks Minerals will start small, but will grow with time, so keep coming back to see what's new (the most recently added specimens will appear near the bottom of each sale page). |

How to Order
To place an order request, simply click on the order form link on the menu to the left. The form will appear in a separate window that you can keep open while you shop the site.
Type in one or more specimen names, prices and ID Codes. Indicate your preferred method of payment (Check, Money Order or PayPal). Type in your contact information and click the "submit form" button when you are ready to place your order request. Upon receipt of your order request, we will determine the shipping cost and email the total cost back to you. Order requests are not final or binding - you can decide after you receive the total cost from us whether or not you would like proceed with payment. Please bear in mind that your physical and email addresses are necessary to determine the shipping cost and get back to you with the total amount, respectively.
For those of you who wish to make payment by credit card or electronically from your bank account, you may use PayPal. PayPal is fast, easy and absolutely secure. The total shipping cost for one or more items will be provided to you when you place your order request. We only charge the actual cost for shipping and insurance. We DO NOT add a costly handling fee to increase profits. We make every effort to use the least expensive shipping method available. The shipping cost is based on the weight of the item(s) and distance from our home. The weight of each item may be found in its description and you can estimate its shipping cost by going to the USPS website at USPS.gov (from zip code: 28715). Insurance for each item is required. Be aware that the final shipping cost will be slightly higher than what you calculated due to the additional weight of the box and packing material. You can save a ton on shipping by ordering multiple items as we make every effort to include them in a single package. However, in order to prevent damage to smaller delicate specimens, it may be necessary to use USPS Priority Mail and/or to not combine these with much larger and heavier specimens. |
