It has been cut in half to reveal an interior filled with stalactitic and globular agate - both halves are included. The dimensions of each half are 6" long by 3-1/2" wide and both together weigh 3-1/2 pounds. This is a killer specimen from a classic location.

This fantastic specimen of agatized coral was collected from the Withlacoochee River area in South Georgia. It represents nearly a whole coral head with an large agate-filled openings on both ends that connect in the center. The interior is filled with stalactitic and globular agate. The dimensions of the specimen are 14" by 14" by 9" with a weight of 29 pounds. The price of this item is a reflection of it's museum-quality and large size. It would be and understatement to say that this is a nice specimen from a classic location - it actually hurts to sell this one.
