Highly iridescent and stalactitic goethite and hematite on meta-volcanic rock from world-famous Graves Mt., Georgia. As you can see from the pictures, a beautiful smear of vibrant colors cover most of the specimen. The delicate nature of the stalactitic formation and a couple spots of white gibbsite make this specimen even more special. The photographs have not been color enhanced and do not capture the full beauty. The specimen is 7" long by 5" wide by 5" thick with a weight of approximately 5-1/2 pounds.
